Poppy Seed Grinder is a brutal death Metal band from Czech Republic.
The band was founded by Dohnal brothers (Yarda – guitar, Jiri – drums) and few mads from Prague suburbs in 1997. Everybody asks where their name, Poppy Seed Grinder, came from. The inspiration was hidden in their mom’s food store (picture of present food store will be added soon:o) and of course nobody spoke english at that time… First demo “Brutallized” was released in 1998, with czech lyrics and since then, the band has moved forward a lot.
